Visiting friends in Portsmouth

Our friend Kevin was up from Chicago and we headed out with Lisa (and baby) and Neil to eat some dinner at the Old Ferry Landing right on the water.. it was a beautiful night! A not so quiet Sunday....

Nick spooked this chippy... he had to nurse it back to health.. after it "some how" fell out of the bird feeders....interesting...




What we thought was going to be a quiet Sunday... doing house chores... led to some visitors... bee bee guns... and cowboy hats... It was a great evening.

Nick and I and a bunch of people from our work are taking part in Jordan's Walk for Wishes and Dash for Dreams. It is a 5K Walk and Run and it will be held this Saturday, September 22, 2007. The woman who runs this entire thing is my secretary... she lost her son at the age of 14 to cancer. She was able to raise $25,000 last year to help kids make their dreams come true.. her goal is $30,000 this year :)

50 kids and a few teachers went to Sargent Camp.... we stayed in yurts for 2 nights and froze... but the ropes course and canoeing was great for the kids!
